Event Details
Ross Edwards is one of Australia’s best-known, most-performed and most-loved composers. Ross celebrates his 75th birthday in 2018 and City Recital Hall joins with Sydney Chamber Choir and percussion virtuosi Synergy for this tribute concert in his honour. This concert encompasses pieces composed by Ross alongside the music that has both inspired him and the music he himself has inspired in others. This will be an unmissable testament to his extensive musical achievements.
Ross Edwards has long believed in the transformative and healing powers of music, and his music is marked by a uniquely Australian sense of place that celebrates the majesty and diversity of this great land. Join us for a gala event that applauds Ross’ inimitable creativity and thanks him for a life’s work that continues to delight audiences across the world.
