Event Details
Early Warning System can make glorious sounds out of anything – cicadas, galahs, desert winds, and morse code have all inspired the ensemble to make their unique brand of percussion-driven music. The band combines deep grooves, meditative chord clusters and punchy syncopations to bring to life musical compositions by Erik Griswold, Kate Neal, Anthony Pateras, Michael Askill and Vanessa Tomlinson. Go on an auditory exploration with 5 Sonic Adventures and enjoy Early Warning System’s eclectic variety of instruments – everything from vibraphones to planet gongs.
Performers: Vanessa Tomlinson, Michael Askill, Cameron Kennedy, Nozomi Omote, Rebecca Lloyd-Jones
