Event Details
The second concert in the 'Light Qualities' series, 'Greyscale' features emerging string quartet Quart-Ed.
These talented musicians have a music education background and are passionate about making music fun and accessible for all. They have chosen a selection of pieces for quartets by Australian composers to share with the audience. In addition, David Tocknell and Liam Mulligan each contribute new works inspired by the idea of Greyscale, which Quart-Ed will premiere at the concert.
Light Qualities is an exciting series of four concerts presented by emerging Sydney-based composer-performer collective Konzertprojekt in collaboration with St Stephen’s Uniting Church. The mini-festival showcases a diverse range of Australian music focusing on new music and emerging musicians, and presents up-and-coming musical voices of Sydney.
