Pairing sweepingly-lush Barber, two Australian classics, and a feminist retelling of the Garden of Eden through the cabaret-inspired score of Heggie, this is a captivating survey of human identity and our relationship to the natural world. Hailing from the Netherlands, Bethany Shepherd rejoins Brisbane Music Festival by popular demand after masterful performances in 2022.
