Presented by Artology in partnership with QPAC and QYO - live at The Old Museum AND streamed online.

Open Fanfare sees 16 young Australian composers age 12-21, create a short 30 second fanfare to be performed in concert at Queensland Performing Arts Centre with the Queensland Youth Orchestra and conductor Peter Morris. The 16 works have been selected from a national call and the young composers attend two workshop sessions with mentor composers to finalise the compositions. The mentors are Nicholas Vines, Lyle Chan, Nicole Murphy, Chrysoulla Markoulla and Alexander Voltz.

The concert on 30 September is currently planned to take place live, with Queensland Youth Orchestras conducted by Peter Morris. The event will be live streamed.
