Realms of Light takes inspiration from a world beyond our physical reach, featuring extraordinary works for solo cello performed by leading cello soloist, Blair Harris.

Works by Greenbaum, Moore and Golijov look to the stars and pay homage to love, luck and loss.

The iconic Requiem for Cello Alone by Sculthorpe completes the performance, searching for, and ultimately finding, the eternal realm of light.Performed in the unique setting of Elgee Park, experience this music surrounded by stunning Australian artworks.

Blair is a highly regarded solo cellist and chamber musician, known particularly for his strikingly individual interpretations and innovative collaborative projects.

Blair performs on a cello crafted by Giovanni Battista Guadagnini, Piacenza, circa 1743. It is on loan from UKARIA and was purchased through the generosity of its donors.
