Event Details
Any festival with ambition should present something different or at least unexpected, be that in an artist whose work is not yet well known or a project/collaboration that brings out something different from musicians whose work is familiar.
This year we have three guests from overseas, the Eri Yamamoto Trio, baritone saxophonist Claire Daly and saxophonist FrØy Aagre alongside wonderful Australian artists such as Judy Bailey (in conversation & concert on Sat 9 November), Shannon Barnett and Gian Slater. This year we have been able to represent a broad spectrum of jazz music and hope this program gives you access to styles that are fun, intelligent and guarantees a sense of discovery.
