Event Details
Prokofiev was the only major composer of 20th-century Russia who left for the West and then returned, but wherever he was he had an infallible sense of theatre. Discover the celebrated March from his American opera, The Love for Three Oranges, and the equally vibrant music from his Fifth Symphony, composed after his return home.
Australian composer Peter Sculthorpe gives another perspective on what it means to be ‘at home’.
Featured non-Australian music: Prokofiev
