In the Pipeline was conceived as one large work, with each of the separate tracks intended to contribute to the album as a whole. The three long compositions by each of the composer/performers (Autumn collage, Integrations and Sock Bop-a-Dop) form the pillars around which much of the othe rmusic was constructed.
