Transportation'.
In her research for her book, Jordie Albiston learned of stories
about the young women who were detained at Hyde Park Barracks. In
an excavation of rubble, menstrual rags were found at the site.
This song is about a young convict girl who is entering
womanhood, who misses her mother on the other side of the world.
