Product details

While walking through the NSW Art Gallery I noticed a scrappy little painting by Australian artist Danila Vassilieff titled, Nocturne No.3 Commonwealth Lane. The art work immediately conjured up some musical ideas which I continued to develop into a stand alone solo piano work. The music much like the painting, portrays the loneliness and isolation that can occur in a simple Sydney street at night.
