Set Me Free is an album of poetry voiced by Jalal Mahamede, accompanied with usic by Keyna Wilkins (piano, flute), and guest artists on piano, violin, didgeridoo, viola, electric viola de gamba, drum set, beat box, darabouka, trumpet, guitar, cello, tenor saxophone, double bass and effected vocalisations.
The album was made during the Covid-19 lockdown with each musician recording themselves improvising individually in their homes and curated by Keyna Wilkins.
