Product details
Includes three songs. 'Arrows I' is a recitative style setting of the acceptance speech of Julia Gillard, accepting the office of prime minister, June 23, 2010, led by four singers, adapted by Greenwell and Hilary Bell. Against this, two speaker/vocalists call out misogynist terms said to or about Julia Gillard. The second song, 'Arrows II' is a bittersweet song to a lyric by Hilary Bell. The third song 'Misogyny Song', adapted from Gillard's famous speech, provides chords and a bass line with the expectation that other musicians improvise in accordance with the harmonic structure and song style.
