Work Overview
This collection of pieces was requested by my Moravian friend Olga for her guitar students back in 1998. Each piece is inspired by a different personality:
¨ Elza - to Olga and Jan Labant's beloved 'sausage dog'
¨ Olga - for whom I wrote this collection
¨ Vince - my former guitar student who really wanted a piece with 'cool fingerpicking'
¨ Darina - my old university friend - a poet living in Venice
¨ Ivana - inspired by the many creative talents of my wife
¨ Coco - my faithful Norwegian Elkhound, long gone, who would often listen to me write music very intensely, especially in anticipation of food.
