Work Overview
This piece is inspired by the sound world of the guqin, specifically its quiet and delicate qualities. I attempt to capture this through 'amplification' by the whole ensemble - not in the sense of the music being louder (quite the contrary) but as if the guqin's qualities are simply absorbed and projected by the other instruments.
