Work Overview

This piece is (to my mind) joyously alive and liltingly rhythmic, and features the flute doing many things! It's extended adagio sections have the flute playing sighing, soft bird-like things, also (even if I say so myself) rather beautiful!

But hey, one read-through is worth a thousand words of very subjective description and value judgements by the composer himself.... see what you make of it!
