No One Could Relax around Jezebel : for soprano and metal percussion / music by Andrew Ford ; words by Anne Carson.
Library shelf no. 783.66542/FOR 6 [Available for loan]
Work Overview
This piece is perhaps best thought of as music theatre, though there is no 'action' as such. I first read Anne Carson's poems in the London Review of Books and they immediately suggested a soprano voice competing with a jangly percussive noise. The poems are used by kind permission of the poet.
