This piece was originally written for the short film "Last Tree Standing", originally for symphonic orchestra.
Instrumentation: Piccolo, 2 flutes, 2 oboes, 3 clarinets in B flat, alto clarinet in E flat, bass clarinet in B flat, 2 bassoons, 2 alto saxophones, tenor saxophone, baritone saxophone, 4 horns in F, 3 trumpets in B flat, 2 tenor trombones, bass trombone, euphonium, 2 tubas, double bass, percussion (4 players), timpani, piano, keyboard/harp.
Duration: 4 min.
Film music. Dramatic changes in tempo and colour with intimate as well as large moments.
This piece is a cue from the 30-minute score of the film "Last Tree Standing" which won Apra-Amcos Best Music in a Short Film.
