Work Overview

Signal Lost is to do with the moment communication fails. The work was inspired by a comparison of Beethoven's losing his hearing to the pandemic times of 2020. At the climactic moment in the work, the whole orchestra mimics 'anxious breathing' - speeding up and slowing down in bursts
