Work Overview

In Paradisum was written for Emil Cox and Canticum Chamber Choir. It is a memorial to those who lost their lives in the terrible bomb attacks in Bali on August 12, 2002, which resulted in the deaths of 202 people, including 88 Australians.

From the full, lush harmonies of this eight-part choral piece to the chorus of angels in the middle section, the beauty and eloquence of the music lifts the spirits high above the troubled times and the lost souls it commemorates.
