Work Overview
Commissioned by the Plamen Trio (Ljubljana, Slovenia) as a new work for this combination, for which there is not a huge extant original repertoire. The Plamen Trio is an exceptional ensemble of 3 young women who have studied and played together as friends and colleagues for a number of years. The work offers a rich range of opportunities for virtuosic, dramatic and expressive playing across 3 movements.
