Work Overview
Intricate Rituals was a dance piece which I collaborated on with the actor Anthony Cogin. It was a work for 2 male dancers ( Anthony was 1 of them ) with live musical accompaniment supplied by myself. It was performed at the Performance Space in Redfern for an event to showcase new performance art. Due to the nature of working with dancers there was a fair degree of flexibility with regards to the rhythm and there was some improvisation involved. Because of this I did not initially bother to notate it all. As the years have passed however I thought it might be a useful performance piece and have included notated examples for the improvisations.
