Event Details
The Christ Church Camerata is pleased to present this concert, featuring the extraordinary German flautist and neuroscientist Eckart Altenmüller in Bach's profound Suite in b minor. Altenmüller will be joined by Sally Walker, well-known to Newcastle audiences through her Twilight Musical Dialogues, in Doppler's exquisite Andante and Rondo. Mozart and Sculthorpe round out the program, which will conclude with the searching beauty of Sculthorpe's String Quartet No 14. The Christ Church Camerata is grateful to Hunter Medical REsearch Institute and Twilight Musical Dialogues for their assistance in making this concert possible.
Featured non-Australian music: BACH Suite no. 2 in B minor for Flute & Strings, BWV1067 DOPPLER Andante and Rondo for two flutes and string orchestra, Op 25 MOZART Divertimento in F, K.138
