Event Details
In 2011, the Sydney Gay & Lesbian Choir (SGLC) celebrates its twentieth anniversary. A milestone for any ensemble, the last twenty years have seen significant changes in the choir and the community in which it operates. One aspect of the choir’s performance which has remained consistent throughout its history, however, is its promotion of Australian music. Australian repertoire is so important to choir members that it forms a significant part of the repertoire for SGLC’s twentieth anniversary retrospective, to be held on Saturday 4 June at the Sydney Town Hall.
MCs Michael Kirby and Rosie Dennis
