String Quartet No. 3 explores the relationship between order and intuition. It is a highly structured and complex work designed to create a narrative unique to each individual listener. For this reason there are no titles. The entire work is performed with a tempo of crotchet = 50. It contains all the related pulse rates and subdivisions associated with that tempo.
Instrumentation: 2 violins, viola, cello.
