Work Overview

This work was originally concieved for my MA Flute Recital at Bristol Unviersity 2008. It is a short poem accompanied by a pattern of pitches that can be played in any order and any octave, with players coming in one after the other in staggered entries.

Instrumentation: Spoken Voice, at least 2 flutes.

Duration: 3 min.

Difficulty: Medium — It is structured improvisation so the speed of the notes is up to the performer.
