23 new associate artists join the Australian Music Centre
The AMC is delighted to welcome 23 art music creators as new
Associate Artists.
Spanning
intercultural composition, screen music, experimental sound art
and more, these artists are shaping
new directions in Australian music and are proof of just how rich
and varied Australian music-making continues to be. Associate
Artist representation is a testament to these artists' efforts in
establishing their career as music creators.
AMC CEO
Catherine Haridy says: "Congratulations to our new
Associate Artists. We're delighted
to have
such innovative
composers and sound artists from a broad range of
genres and styles
joining the
AMC. Welcoming them into the AMC
collection
means their work
is now preserved, discoverable, and ready to reach new
audiences, which is exactly what the
AMC exists to do."
