The closing gala of the Gondwana World Choral Festival brings together eight of the best children’s and young people’s choirs from around the globe. Each will appear in a solo bracket, and combine with the Sydney Children’s Choir to sing Christopher Gordon’s Peace on Earth. This could be the greatest variety of choirs you’ll ever hear under one roof!
Choirs include: Sydney Children’s Choir, Boston Children’s Chorus, Estonian Television Girls’ Choir, Guangdong Experimental Middle School Choir, Inner Mongolia Youth Choir, La Cigale de Lyon, Miami Children’s Chorus, Nagoya Children’s Choir, Riga Cathedral Girls’ Choir TIARA, Toronto Children’s Chorus, and Young Adelaide Voices. Plus choirs from Sydney schools: Abbotsleigh Chamber Choir, SCEGGS Darlinghurst Choir, and Pymble Chorale.
