In 2012, the Moorambilla Festival will celebrate its 7th anniversary. Working with the Indigenous weavers from the Ngemba, Gamilaroy and Wailwan peoples, new works will be created on the festival theme Lifelines - Weaving our lives together. Music by Christopher Gordon, Daniel Walker, Luke Byrne, Sally Whitwell, Ben Van Tienan, Elena Kats-Chernin and Paul Stanhope will be performed by the choirs of Moorambilla Voices, Leichhardt Espresso Chorus, Continuum Sax, Sydney Youth Orchestra, Synergy and the chamber strings of the MLC School Burwood. Under the artistic direction of Michelle Leonard, this year's program offers incredible concerts in remarkable venues ,fire sculptures, sound scapes, digital projections, art, workshops and laughs.
