"I made this arrangement for solo violin and full string orchestra of the Chorale movement from my violin concerto Maninyas (1988) as an alternative to the original scoring, which excluded orchestral violins. In this form it can be performed on its own as a concert piece and is well within the reach of school orchestras." Ross Edwards
