Instrumentation: Piccolo, 2 flutes (2nd doubling alto flute), 2 oboes, cor anglais, 2 clarinets in B flat, bass clarinet, 2 bassoons, contra-bassoon, 4 horns, 3 trumpets in C, 2 trombones, bass trombone, tuba, timpani, percussion (3 players), harp, piano (doubling celesta), solo trumpet in B flat, strings (minimum 14.12.10.8.6).Solo trumpet part requires jazz 'lead trumpet' extended upper register, jazz improvisation and circular breathing ability.

Duration: 15 min.
