Work Overview

With permission & protocols from the Narungga Aboriginal Progress Association, this song uses the only known traditional Narungga song text. It is about gathering quandongs and is interpreted with verses in English based on Auntie Josie Agius's reminiscences of bush tucker from the 1940s.

Chorus is traditional Narungga song text. Verses are by Chester Schultz and Josie Agius.
