Work Overview
This piece sets a text by Palestinian poet, Jabra-Ibrahim Jabra about the contemporary experience of disposession and exile along with fragments of the Old Testament Lamentations of Jeremiah. It is a virtuosic movement for chamber choir which features a variety of choral textures and devices.
