White Petals is the third song in the 7-movement work 'All Flesh is Fire', a 30-minute choral song cycle setting poetry by Kate Llewellyn.

It contemplates the passing of time as observed through seasonal changes in the garden. The tone is one of gentle acceptance along with a recognition of aging, and the quiet joy of being alone.
