One of the world's most prestigious piano competitions, the Sydney International Piano Competition, will take place in Sydney on 6-23 July at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music's Verbrugghen Hall and the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall (Final Round, 19-23 July). There is an requirement for the competitors to perform an Australian work as part of their program (the Preliminaries, Verbrugghen Hall 7-11 July).
